MOSCOW, May 24 (PRIME) -- The number of clients of Russian online retailer who actively complain on a 100 ruble fine imposed by the company on every item in the order that is returned is increasing, PRIME reported late on Monday.
When placing an order, a notice about the fine pops up. Wildberries clients said in the platform’s community on social network VKontakte that the company charges the amount even in case of return of a faulty item.
Wildberries told PRIME that the marketplace has been testing different models of delivery since 2020 and seeks to motivate customers to apply a more conscious approach to ordering.
